The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of western Pennsylvania on Saturday. The advisory is in place for Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland counties, beginning at 1 p.m. and continuing until 8 p.m. The watch also extends to several east-central Ohio counties and northwestern West Virginia counties, including Monongalia County.
